Afghanistan’s situation is getting worse day by day due to the Taliban’s takeover. Taliban’s acts have terrified many afghans and even made them flee from the country. Many people are seeking help from other countries to help them escape from Afghanistan. The United States has been helping thousands of afghans Espace Afghanistan.

Due to the Taliban’s rise to power, afghans are leaving everything they possess at their hometown. The only thing that they are carrying with them is their lives. So the resettlement of Afghans has become a global crisis.

To help Afghanistan refugees, every country and big companies are contributing what they can to the refugee funds. Addressing this global issue, Airbnb has offered free accommodation and housing for nearly 20,000 Afghan refugees. Airbnb, the biggest online marketplace for lodging, has made this generous offer for refugees on Tuesday.

Airbnb community decided to collaborate with the resettlement agencies and partners to ensure the need and support for Afghan refugees. Not only this but also Airbnb encouraged the business community to join efforts for providing support to Afghan refugees.

Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky said “as tens of thousands of Afghanistan’s are fleeing from the Taliban’s takeover, their resettlement needs have to be addressed. Where they stay will be the new chapter in their lives. He even added that the Airbnb community not only provides a safe place for them to restart their lives but also a warm welcome home.

This is not the first time Airbnb came forward to help refugees. It has always been a part of social activities like this. In the past few years, Airbnb and Airbnb. org helped nearly 25,000 refugees. Also, the Airbnb community helped hundreds of people in the US special Immigrant Visa Program to get temporary housing. Along with this, this year it has created the $25 million Refugee fund to support Afghanistan refugees.

Airbnb CEO Chesky made an announcement on Twitter ” Starting Today, Airbnb will begin housing 20,000 afghan refugees globally for free. The tweets get a crazy response on the social media platform. Many people appreciated Airbnb’s generosity. The Airbnb CEO tweet has received thousands of retweets and comments.

He further posted on Twitter saying, I hope this inspires other business leaders to do the same. There’s no time to waste” Let’s see how many global leaders or any other organization come forward to help Afghan Refugees.

As the Afghan situation gets worse, many people are trying to escape Afghanistan. Countries like the US and India are making efforts to help those refugees. Day by day refugees’ numbers are also increasing and their resettlement has become the biggest humanitarian crisis of our time.
