12-year-old coder

Technology has introduced millions of new ways of how one can achieve wealth. There are plenty of platforms and strategies on how people can make and earn money. But not everyone has the patience to do all the hard work that goes into it. One of such things is NFT’s, NFT’s are Non-Fungible Tokens. They are like digital assets that you can own.

NFTs can be anything from real-life art to digital pixelated pictures. Not only that, there are many people who love to buy those NFT with actual currency. One of the kids from London who has not even finished schooling made nearly crores by selling these NFT’s.

The 12-year-old boy based in London named Benyamin Ahmed has become the youngest millionaire. He is very passionate about coding. He learned about coding at the age of 5. From childhood to this day, he had never missed a day and never spent a day without even coding for hours. Actually, he was inspired by his father, who is a web developer.

The young boy was fascinated by his father’s work and enthusiasm for technology. So he developed the same level of passion for technology and coding. With the same enthusiasm, he picked up the skill and became proficient in a very short time.

The boy created his first NFT, consisting of 40 avatars called Minecraft Yee Haa. This collection was inspired by the video game Minecraft. Benyamin Ahmed said in an interview that he was fascinated by the NFTS. Because you can easily transfer ownership through blockchain. However, his first NFT project, consisting of a Minecraft avatar, didn’t sell for a lot.

But the kid was not disappointed, he kept on working on new projects in NFT’s. His latest NFT project, weird whales, has become a hot topic on the internet. He created and programmed nearly 3350 emoji-type whales. Benyamin has informed that he created all the base layers and the whale traits using pixel art.

Also, he informed, that he created these Whale emojis using an open-source Python script. Interestingly, this is the first time the Kawaii pixel whale was used in a generative art project with custom on chain based on the NFT website.

Recently, when he auctioned off these Weird Whales in July, their collection was sold off within nine hours. In that, the 12-year-old boy has gained more than 80 Ether coins. Not only that, but also every time that collection will pass onto new owners, he will get a royalty of 2.5 percent on each sale.

He earned nearly 30 Ether coins just from the resales of the weird whales collection. Till now he made more than $350,000, which is 2.57 crores in Indian currency. As he is just 12 years old, he doesn’t even possess any bank account.

His entire money is stored in cryptocurrency format in his crypto wallet. When the news got out, his parents and his classmates were shocked. None is aware of his crypto wealth up until that point. As of now, he doesn’t have any plans for converting his crypto wealth into actual money. The boy is working on another NFT project.
