Facebook and Ray-Ban launched their first smart glasses

Initially, this idea came into the picture when Facebook joined hands with the eyewear iconic brand Ray-Ban.

Facebook and Ray-Ban have opened the curtains and revealed what people have been waiting for a long time. Both Facebook and Ray-ban have come together and launched the smart glasses called Smart Stories. 

The glasses are well designed and are up to everyone’s expectations. Tech enthusiasts and gadget lovers are going crazy about these new AR smart glasses. These smart glasses will be available for users in 20 different styles. You can pair these smart glasses with Android 8 or higher and iOS 13 or higher version mobile phones. You can connect these new smart glasses wirelessly with the help of Bluetooth 5.0. Along with this, these glasses are equipped with dual-band Wi-Fi. 

Not only this, but the glasses also pack many useful and interesting features that you should know before getting them. Also, keep in mind that these Ray-Ban smart stories will cost you nearly $299. Initially, Facebook will be launching these smart glasses in some selected areas like the US, Australia, Canada, Ireland, Italy, and the UK. If you are from India, then you might have to wait a little longer. 

Facebook’s first smart glasses Ray-Ban stories look like ordinary glasses from the outside. Ray-Ban stories come with two 5MP cameras at the corners with an LED light near them. You can capture and record stunning videos with these cameras. 

As of now, it lets users record 30 seconds of high-quality videos or take photos using a button. Users can also use the voice commands to do these tasks by using Facebook Assistant Voice commands. Not only that, these glasses are equipped with built-in open-ear speakers. Along with a three-microphone audio array that lets you have the same experience as you get with your headphones. 

You can effortlessly take calls and listen to music with the same level of comfort as you get from headphones. These glasses come with Facebook’s view app that lets you share your videos and photos on your timeline. You can later pair them with the View app on iOS and Android. This lets you import your content and allows you to share across different social media platforms like TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and more. 

Overall, the Ray-Ban stories come with plenty of useful features and cool looks. Its LED lights will glow whenever you record something to let others know that you are recording.
