Elon’s SpaceX is never off the record for bringing some interesting news for its fans and admirers. Recently SpaceX is making a lot of buzz on Twitter. On Twitter SpaceX frequently posts updates about its ambitious projects and its rocket launch videos. SpaceX rocket launch videos are very intriguing to watch and those videos are getting better and better with time.
On Wednesday, SpaceX launched 88 satellites total, part of the “Transporter 2” mission. This includes five satellites for a new Pentagon agency and others are for various companies, schools, and countries. This Transporter-2 mission carried 85 commercial satellites and 3 Starlink satellites onboard the Falcon-9 rocket.
This two-stage Falcon 9 rocket lifted off at 3.11 pm EST on June 30 from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. Later, the first stage booster got separated at around 3.34 PM ET and successfully landed after eight minutes at Cape Canaveral. Nearly eight minutes after the liftoff, the rocket landed perfectly at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.

SpaceX has successfully completed its rideshare mission called Transporter-2. All the satellites got successfully deposited into a polar orbit and the Falcon rocket landed at SpaceX’s Landing Zone 1 perfectly.
This launch marked the second of the mission Transporter for launching satellites to a polar orbit from Florida. The initial one, Transporter-1 carried nearly 143 satellites at the same time, which was a new record in space travel. However, the transporter-2 launched more mass to the space orbit than transporter-1. This year SpaceX has launched nearly 900 satellites to space, setting a new record for space travel.
This ride share business model was initially announced by SpaceX in 2019. SpaceX developed this strategy to allow small businesses and people who can’t afford to get to orbit to access this facility. This business model allows both SpaceX and customers to benefit in terms of costs. Also, the SpaceX rocket’s payload capacity will be divided among multiple customers.
However, SpaceX handles the full launch costs and revenue to operate it. At the same time making it affordable for those who want to launch their satellite into orbit at a lower cost.
Overall, the SpaceX second launch mission to a polar orbit from Florida was successfully completed. This Transporter mission was successful because of Falcon rockets and the whole SpaceX team’s efforts behind it.
Elon’s SpaceX initiated this mission on June 25 but later it was postponed. To make sure all the pre-launch checks are accurate and everything is on point. Then it was fixed for Tuesday 29. Unfortunately, this one also got canceled because at the time of launching a gigantic aircraft appeared in the safe zone. So the team delayed it for 24 hours.
Finally, on Wednesday SpaceX successfully completed this mission. Till now this year, SpaceX delivered more satellites to space than the entire world did this year. Let’s hope that SpaceX completes many more marvelous projects in the upcoming future.
