The flying car completes its first inter-city flight “Welcome to the future”

This flying car is powered by a BMW-sourced 160 hp engine with a fixed-propeller and a ballistic parachute.

The flying car covered the distance from Nitra airport to Bratislava airport within just 35 minutes. While on the air, it traveled at the speed of 190 KMPH. After finishing this record-breaking, flying journey, the flying car turned into a sports car in less than three minutes with just a click of a button. The video captures everything from the starting point of the car turning into a flying machine, then the mid-air journey and finally the landing. It even shows how the machine turned from a flying machine to a sports car within minutes after the landing. Then it rode back to the city streets.

The “Aircar” team informed that the flying car has the capacity to fly about 1000 km at a height of 8200 ft. And it can fly at a speed of 170 KMPH.

While in Testing this fascinating machine has performed steep 45 degree turns and stability and maneuverability. Also, the company informed us that this flying car takes around two minutes and 15 seconds to take off and convert from a car to an aircraft. Till now this prototype has completed nearly 40 hours of flight time and has reached a height of 8200 feet with a top speed of 190kmph.
