National Award-winning actor Surekha Sikri died on Friday morning at the age of 75. She passed away because of cardiac arrest and suffering from the complication of the second brain stroke. Based on reports, she has been suffering these brain stroke complications for the last two years. Actor’s agent Vivek Sidhwani announced the news of her death through the actress’s Instagram handle.
Till now, she had a spectacular journey and made her mark in millions of fan’s hearts. Several celebrities and coworkers have expressed their condolences through their social media handles. Entire Bollywood has mourned the loss of evergreen actress Surekha Sikri.
She started her acting career with the political drama film Kissa Kursi Ka, in 1978. From that point on, she has played several roles in both films and TV shows. She was a delight to watch, and her acting skills had won millions of admirers for her throughout the country. On her journey, she received several awards, including three national film awards and a filmfare award.

She completed her graduation from ‘Aligarh Muslim University. Coming to an acting career was never her first priority. She wanted to be a writer or a classical singer. Whereas her sister, Manara, wanted to study acting.
But she never filled the form, which was lying around at home. So Surekha Sikri filled the form and got selected unexpectedly. The unexpected road led to a world-class legacy.
