Ravi Kumar Dahiya brings silver medal in wrestling for India

Ravi Kumar Dahiya is just a 23 years old Indian freestyle wrestler who won a silver medal in the men’s freestyle 57kg category. He came very close to the gold medal but couldn’t make it. He fought with Zavur Uguev in the finals at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020.

Zavur Uguev is a freestyle Russian wrestler, two-time world champion. It was a heavy task to defeat him but still Ravi Kumar Dahiya had fought heroically. Ravi Kumar Dahiya came under the radar and made victory after victory from the quarter-final to semi-finals. The fight was very mesmerizing and glued everyone’s eyes to the participants. Both the participants have fought with everything. Their hardcore training and mental toughness have impressed everyone who was watching.

The match continued with the same enthusiasm and tension till the end. By the end of the second round, Zavur uguev gained a 7-4 lead against Ravi Kumar Dahiya. Ravi Kumar Dahiya has fought till the last second. Unfortunately, he had to settle for silver. Zavur Uguev has used all his experience and hardcore training and he appreciated Ravi Kumar Dahiya’s efforts.
