But today’s story about the pet owner is a bit different. He is an inspiration and one of the most generous and kind people you have ever seen. Because of the love of his pets, he has done something that no one ever expected.
A Gujrat-based man, Upendra Goswami, has established something remarkable for his pets. He established a home for his pet cats named Cat Garden. This Cat Garden was spread across a 500 square yards area. Not only it is a playing garden for them but also it is filled with many facilities for cats.
Upendra Goswami is a custom house agent living in Gandhidham city in Kutch. He has been adopting and raising cats in his Cat Garden since 2017. Currently, the establishment is a home for nearly 200 cats. Cats are well cared for in the establishment. They were provided with 3 times food per day and regular veterinary check-ups were also done for them.
Goswami dedicated this cat house to his late sister, who passed away back in 1994. When asked how he comes with this idea and commitment. He narrated the whole story that’s quite fascinating and interesting. Based on reports, he informed us that every year we celebrate the birthday of my late sister. Once a cat entered our house and ate her birthday cake.
Interestingly, since then, the cat has been staying with us. We believe that it is our sister who is staying with us in the form of the cat. From that time, he started taking care of that cat and continuously housing other cats, too.
The man started raising cats in the year 1994 and established a cathouse in the year 2017. Since then, he has been taking care of them. From food requirements to medical emergencies. He informed in a recent interview that his cat house has four AC rooms, 16 cottages along with 12 beds.
Upendra Goswami and his wife take care of all the expenses. Nearly 90% expenses requirement for maintaining the cat house. On an Avg, the cat house needs monthly maintenance of Rs 1.5 lakhs.
Inspired by their hardcore efforts and commitment, Ahmedabad Jivdaya Charitable Trust joined them recently. If you are willing to take a look at this mesmerizing cat house, then you have to pay the visit. Luckily, Upendra Goswami opens the cat house for visitors for four hours every Sunday.
Also, the entry fee is very minimal, so you can take all your friends and family members without spending much.
