It’s worthy to note that the announcement came after the Zoo officials’ team got a hefty check. Hyderabad-based Gland Pharmaceutical Ltd donated nearly Rs 20 lakhs.
The company has donated this amount especially for the construction and maintenance of the Kangaroo enclosure. Interestingly, the work will begin very soon. The officials are planning to complete all the requirements by 2022.
Initially, the company’s CSR head Raghuram and other members P. Sampath Kumar, and Swathi visited the Zoo. They enjoyed their time in the Zoo. Also, they appreciated how the officials are maintaining the Zoo and animals’ wellbeing. To support and encourage group members, they have donated Rs 20 lakhs.
The Nehru Zoological curator Subhadra Devi thanked the Raghuram and other officials for their support. She has been making full efforts to encourage people and firms to adopt and support the animals in the Zoo. After a long time, they have received a hefty amount for the development of Zoo.
Gland Pharmaceuticals Ltd’s donation will boost the official’s confidence in providing a better environment for the animals. Along with adding new wildlife creatures like kangaroos. Which are very rare to see in this country. Generally, kangaroos are quite famous for Australia but some other countries. But in India, these creatures are very rare. It’s very rare to get a glimpse of these creatures in the country. However, that will change soon. Shortly, you can witness two pairs of Eastern Grey Kangaroos in Hyderabad.
