He also stated that India has already achieved a significant goal by installing 100 GW of renewable energy. India has a great potential for increasing these numbers in the upcoming. Compare to other countries, India received sunlight most of the days in a year. Which is an advantage India has for doubling its potential for green energy.
The ambitious leader, Mukesh Ambani, planning to install nearly 175 GW of renewable energy capacity by the end of 2022. He even confirmed that based on the previous success India has witnessed with renewable energy milestones, it is well within sight.
Not only this, but He also has plans for making Reliance industries Carbon-free by the year 2035. Along with this, India is focusing on green hydrogen production. Which can be a great advantage for India to cope with the increasing population. Main major cities in India have already seen severe consequences of pollution.
Cities like Delhi have experienced air pollution like no other city. Many factors, like increased automobile usage, industrial growth, and lack of healthy environment-friendly rules, have played a crucial role in this. If green hydrogen production becomes mainstream, then it can surely replace diesel and petrol, as primary fuels. As a result, it will greatly help in reducing fossil fuels and carbon emissions.
