Freshly, FIR has been filed by a businessman against Raj Kundra and his wife, Shilpa Shetty, along with a few others. A businessman named Nitin Barai has filed this case for duping him of Rs 1.51 crores. The Raj Kundra family was in shock. Raj Kundra came home recently after spending nearly two months in Arthur Road Jail.
Now the businessman Nitin Barai has filed an FIR against the couple and Kaashif Khan, the director of SFL fitness company. Based on the FIR registered, he said in July 2014, Kaashif Khan and the couple, along with a few others, proposed an investment idea with good returns. They asked me to invest Rs 1.51 crores into SFT fitness company.
He further stated that the SFL fitness company will provide him franchise and open a gym and spa in Pune. However, the reality was much different. None of their plans materialized. Later he confronted them and asked for his money back, which he allegedly threatened.” The news was a big shock for the Raj Kundra family and friends.
Currently, the investigation is going on to know the truth. Whereas Shilpa Shetty has made a statement about this matter on her Instagram official handle. She wrote in her post that woke up to an FIR registered in Raj and my name! Expressing her shock, she put forward some interesting details.
She wrote in the post that SFL fitness company was run by Kaashif Khan. He had taken brand rights to open multiple branches around the country. Everything related to that company was handled by him only. She also confirmed that the company was closed in 2014.
Along with that, she expressed her disbelief at how people are dragging her and her husband into such a matter. Further stated that it hurts to see that her name is dragged so easily to get eyeballs.
Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra have been facing a hard time since July this year. Not only legally, but mentally and socially. To avoid facing the media and making the matter worse, Shilpa Shetty had withdrawn from multiple projects between June and September. Now freshly she has to deal with this now.
