It was shocking and unexpected news for everyone. On Monday Shilpa Shetty’s husband was arrested in a case of shooting pornographic films. Based on reports, Raj Kundra appears to be the main conspirator in this case. The Mumbai Police, who arrested Raj Kundra, stated that the porn films were being shot in Mumbai and streaming on paid mobile apps.
The case actually started in February when a woman filed a case about being forced to act in a porn film which was offered initially as an acting job. As a part of the case, the Mumbai police have arrested nearly 9 members. One of them has recently taken his name, and it seems that he is the key conspirator in the case.
The Mumbai police immediately got into action and arrested Raj Kundra. The police crime branch has arrested Raj Kundra on Monday Midnight and he has to remain in custody for three days till July 23rd. Till morning several surprising updates came out.
While searching Raj Kundra properties, they have found several clips on his computer. The Mumbai Police have collected all the pornographic material for his computer. Police departments further gave clarity that Raj Kundra’s company, which does all its operations, like shooting, accounts, and operations everything has been operating from Mumbai.
Then the pornographic content used to be sold to the app named “HotShot ” which is owned by UK-based company Vihan’. Sources informed the app has been removed from both Google Play Store and Apple Store. The Mumbai Police informed that the company “Vihan ” was tied up with his brother-in-law who owns an app named ”HotShot”.
They later offer all the pornographic content that was produced in India on this app HotShot for paid subscription. Right now, police have seized his mobile phone and all his business dealing are under monitoring for further investigation purposes.
Mumbai Police reported that Raj Kundra was economically gaining by making and selling pornographic content. Raj Kundra’s income sources have always been mysterious. None exactly knew from where he actually gets the money. Even Kapil Sharma asked in his show that “from where Raj Kundra gets his income without doing anything”.
However, he said it in a different tone, in a very subtle way. It happened when Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra appeared on the show. Kapil asked Raj, “You play football with Bollywood stars, go to exotic locations, and even take Shilpa shopping, but I wonder where you get income for all this without doing anything.
Both the audience and stars burst out laughing and now the case is presenting some light on the sources for his income. The crime branch in Mumbai said that they have gathered enough evidence regarding this case.
Also, several celebrities have responded regarding this case like Kangana Ranaut and others. One of them is Poonam Pandey, who also filed a complaint against him back in 2019. She filed a case against him for fraud and theft.
However, this time Poonam Pandey shared her concern about the Raj Kundra family. She said” At this time my heart goes out to Shilpa Shetty and her kids. I can’t imagine what she must be going through.
