With our present work from culture, most of the population is spending their time at home itself. Many of the gyms and yoga studios are closed and people are becoming too lazy to do home workouts. To make sure you are fit and healthy we have selected some simple and effective Yoga Asanas.

You don’t have to be a yoga freak or Ramdev baba to perform these asanas. These are very easy to perform asanas even children and beginners can also perform. You don’t even have to spend much time on these asanas, even a daily routine of 5 minutes is enough to experience the benefits.

1.Surya Namaskar

Doing Surya Namaskar early in the morning on an empty stomach has many benefits for both body and mind. Surya namaskar is a sequence of 12 powerful yoga poses. With work from home culture, we are spending most of our time sitting in front of screens. Which is the main reason for the back pain and brain fog. By performing Surya Namaskar, your body becomes more flexible and helps maintain cardiovascular health.

2.Cat/Cow Pose

Especially for people who are spending most of their time sitting. Just stand in a tabletop position. It comprises two stretches to stretch and warm up your spine. You need to synchronize your breath to your pose. This yoga pose is best for strengthening your spine. Cow pose energizes your spine and activates your tailbone. Whereas the cat pose relaxes the neck and upper back. This yoga pose improves your mental stability and focus.

3.Sarvangasana- Shoulder Stand

This yoga pose is best suitable for people who are suffering from insomnia, depression, and mental anxiety. In these asanas, you lay flat on your back and slowly lift your legs towards the ceiling. If needed, you can support your back with your hands. Doing this yoga pose stimulates the thyroid and prostate glands. Strengthens your abdominal organs and improves digestion. This yoga pose calms your mind, reduces depression, and helps you cope with insomnia.

4.Vrksasana-Tree Pose

Doing this yoga pose can help you improve balance and body posture. Body posture plays a crucial part in presenting powerful body language. But with our current lifestyle, most of us are spending most of our time on phones. So slouching has become one of the many concerns for many youngsters. Tree pose strengthens your legs and improves concentration. You just need to stand straight, fix your focus on something in front of you. Then slowly lift your left leg and place it on your right leg inner thigh. Now join both hands and do namaskar or lift them up towards the ceiling by joining them.

5.Virabhadrasana-Warrior Pose

If you are too lazy to do exercises for each body part, then doing this asana energizes your whole body. It strengthens your arms, shoulders, legs, and lower back. Also, it improves stamina and releases stress from your shoulders especially. If you are struggling to do it in the right way.
